Branding
A job board that looks and sounds like yours
Your board is not a template with a different name on it. You choose its logo and colour, what the home page shows, the pages and the blog, the words on the buttons and in the emails, and the address visitors type.

Can I put my own logo and colours on my job board?
Yes. In the console’s Branding page you upload a logo and a favicon, pick your colour, and set your board’s name and tagline, the name emails come from, your contact email and your social links. The logo and colour also appear in the emails your board sends.
Can I use my own domain for my job board?
Yes, on the paid plans. You add your address in the console, JobClay shows the DNS records to create at your domain’s provider, and it checks them and shows whether each address is waiting, working or failing. A board on the free plan uses its JobClay address.
Can I change the words on my job board?
Yes. The console’s Texts page lists the words your pages and buttons use, each starting as a default you can replace, and you can put any text back to its default. You can also export all of them as a CSV file, edit the text column in a spreadsheet and import the file back, which suits a rewrite in your own voice or language.
Can I edit the emails my board sends?
Yes. The console’s Emails page lists every email your board sends, when it is sent and to whom. You open one, change its wording, and see it with sample values, including your unsaved changes, before you save. Nothing is sent from the preview.
Can I add my own pages and a blog?
Yes. Content pages such as About or Terms are written in Markdown and have an address on your board. The blog has an editor with headings, lists, links, quotes and images, categories, and posts you can set to appear at a later time.
Can I change what the home page shows?
Yes. There are ten home sections, such as the search box, featured jobs, latest jobs, browse by category and location, featured employers and latest blog posts. You tick the ones to show and put them in order, and you can add a banner with an image or text. The menu is either built automatically from your lists and locations, or made of up to 12 links you choose.
Does my job board work with Google Tag Manager?
Yes. You enter your Tag Manager container ID in the console’s SEO and Tag Manager page. Visitors are asked about cookies first, and Tag Manager loads only for the ones who accept.
