This policy covers the JobClay plans that operators buy from RunCode Inc. It is part of our terms of service.
Cancelling a plan
- You can cancel at any time, without asking us: open your board's billing page in the console and choose to cancel in the billing portal.
- Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you paid for, and is not renewed. Then your board moves to the Free plan.
- Nothing is deleted. Jobs over the Free plan's limit are hidden, not removed, and come back when you upgrade again.
- Until the period ends, you can undo the cancellation from the same page.
Refunds
- Plans are paid in advance and are not refunded, in full or in part, once a period has started. This applies to monthly and yearly plans alike.
- We refund in full a payment taken in error, such as a duplicate charge or a renewal after you cancelled. Write to us within 60 days of the charge.
- Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, that right applies.
- Refunds go back to the card that paid, and banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show them.
Changing plans
- An upgrade starts at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the period.
- A downgrade also starts at once. The unused part of the higher plan is credited to your account and taken off your next invoices, rather than paid back to your card.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the next two weeks and emails you so you can update your card. If it still fails, the subscription ends and your board moves to the Free plan, with nothing deleted.
Payments to a board
When an employer buys job posts on a board, they pay that board's operator, not JobClay. Refunds for those purchases are the operator's decision: contact the board you bought from.
Contact
For a refund or a billing question, write to hello@jobclay.com with your board's address and the date of the charge.
