What is new in JobClay

Each entry is something board operators or their visitors can now see or do, dated by the day it went live. It starts with the launch on October 22, 2026.

  1. Add your own fields to every job

A new Job fields page in the console adds facts every job on a board can carry, such as visa sponsorship, weekly hours or an application deadline. Each field is yes or no, a number, short text, a date or a link, with help text, and can be required. Employers fill them in when they post, operators fill them in the console or a CSV import, and job seekers see them on the job page. A yes or no field can be a filter on the jobs page, and so can each list made on the Lists page.

  2. Job feeds for aggregators, and webhooks

A board can now publish a job feed for aggregators, off until the operator switches it on, in Indeed's format (which Careerjet, Adzuna, Jora and others also read) and in Jooble's and Talent.com's. Imported jobs stay out of the feed unless the operator includes them. Webhooks send six events to an address of the operator's: a job published, a job closed, an application received, an employer signed up, an order paid and a job alert confirmed. Each request is signed with Standard Webhooks, a failed delivery is tried again for about three days, and the console keeps a 30-day delivery log.

  3. Write job descriptions with AI

A Write with AI button under the description, in the employer app's job form and the console's, drafts a job description from the job's details and a few lines of notes. It writes in the board's language and sends no job seeker data. The draft replaces the description only when someone presses the button, with Undo, and nothing is posted until the job is saved. Every plan includes it, and an operator can hide the button on the console's AI writer page.

  4. Move a board to JobClay from CSV files

The console's new Import page brings employers and jobs from another platform's CSV export: upload a file, match its columns, and check a preview that lists every problem before anything is written. Rows can carry their old addresses, and the import adds redirects so visitors and search engines still reach each job and company. When the board is ready, one button emails the imported employers a link to set their password. An import can be removed for seven days after it runs, and removing it takes away only what nobody has used.

  5. Sell a Premium membership to job seekers

Operators can now sell job seekers a paid membership under a name of their own, monthly or yearly, by card into their own Stripe account. For employer jobs, their own jobs and imported jobs separately, they choose whether a job is open to everyone, open to members some hours early, or for members only. Blog posts can be for members only too. A job open to everyone stays fully open, and a members-only job stays out of Google until it opens to everyone. Boards that use Google Tag Manager get a purchase event when someone buys a membership.

  6. Ask applicants screening questions

Employers, and operators in the console, can now add up to ten screening questions to a job: yes or no, one choice from a list, or short text. Applicants who apply on the board answer them, and the answers show with each application. A yes or no question, or a choice question, can say which answers fit, so employers can filter applicants by who meets the requirements, and the CSV download says the same.

  7. Sell job posts by subscription, and offer coupon codes

A package can now bill monthly or yearly: Stripe charges the employer's card into the operator's own Stripe account each period, and a fresh set of job posts and featured upgrades arrives with each payment. Employers manage their subscription on Stripe's billing page, opened from their dashboard, and operators see every subscription on a new Subscriptions page. Coupon codes give a percentage or a fixed amount off, on chosen packages or all of them, with start and end dates and use limits. Employers see the new price before they pay.

  8. Add companies from the source library in a click

The console's Job sources page now opens a library of companies whose Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or SmartRecruiters job boards JobClay can read. Operators filter it by country and field, search it by name, and see how many open jobs each company has, counted every week. Adding a company makes it a job source in a click, and it counts toward the plan's job sources like any other source.

  9. A blog on every board, and job posts in rich text

Each board now has a blog: operators write posts in the console with images and categories, and can schedule a post for later. Visitors get the blog, a page for each category and an RSS feed, and the home page can show the latest posts. Employers and operators now write job descriptions and company profiles in a rich text editor with headings, lists, links, bold and italic. Imported jobs keep the formatting their source gave them.

  10. New and closed jobs reach search engines within minutes

Every board now tells Bing, Yandex and the other engines that take IndexNow about new, moved and closed job pages within minutes, with nothing to set up. Operators who upload a key from their own Google Cloud project on the console's SEO and Tag Manager page get the same for Google, through its Indexing API. A new Redirects page sends visitors and search engines from a board's old addresses to its pages with permanent redirects. Boards that use Google Tag Manager now get named events for job views, applications, job alert sign-ups and registrations.

  11. Weekly job alerts, more ways to sign up, and an RSS feed

Job alerts can now go out weekly as well as daily, and each subscriber chooses which. Visitors sign up from a bar at the bottom of job pages, the jobs list and landing pages, which is on by default, or from a box under each job or a popup that the operator can switch on. The console's Job alerts page shows how many alerts are active and how many were confirmed each week, and downloads the subscribers as a CSV file. Every board also has an RSS feed of its 50 newest jobs at /feed.xml.

  12. Give each company free job posts every month

Free posting, at the top of the console's Packages page, now has three settings: off, unlimited, or a monthly allowance of free posts for each company. A company's recruiters share one allowance, and the count starts again on the 1st of each month in the board's time zone. Within the allowance, free posts are used before bought credits, except when the board is full: then a bought credit lets the job past the plan's limit. Employers see how many free posts the board gives each month and, once they have used them, the day they can post free again.

  13. JobClay is live: a job board of your own, with jobs from day one

JobClay went live with what a job board needs on its first day. Each board has its own address, branding, content pages, employers and job seekers, and paid plans can use their own domain. Jobs arrive from companies' Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters job boards, from XML feeds and from careers pages, with rules for what goes live and duplicates matched across sources. Employers post jobs, pay for packages by card into the operator's own Stripe account or by bank transfer, get numbered invoices and move applicants through seven stages. Operators can sign in with Google and turn on two-factor sign-in.
