Job board software prices compared, checked October 2026

JobClay wrote this page, and JobClay is one of the platforms in the table. Each other platform’s row comes from its own pricing page, linked in the row with the day we read it; JobClay’s row is read from our plans when the page is shown. No platform suits every board, so the last column says who each one suits.

We re-read each pricing page about once a month; each row shows the day we last read it. When a row’s last check is more than 90 days old, the row shows a link to that platform’s current prices instead of a figure. How we check what we publish.

Rows are in alphabetical order, not by price. Prices are in US dollars, as each pricing page prints them. An empty cell means the page does not say.

JobBoard.io, Job Board Fire and SmartJobBoard are not in the table: on October 30, 2026 their pricing pages answered with a bot check or did not load, and we print only what a platform’s own page says.

What to compare

Feature lists are long and mostly alike. Five questions sort the platforms faster:

  1. What it costs to start, and to grow.

A free plan, a trial or a money-back guarantee, then the price of the plan your board will need once it has jobs and employers.

  2. How the board fills with jobs.

An empty board neither ranks on Google nor convinces an employer to pay. Look at how jobs come in (backfill, hiring systems, XML feeds, careers pages), how many, and on which plan.

  3. How employers pay you.

Whether the platform takes a cut, whether Stripe is the only way, and whether invoices are issued for you.

  4. How jobs reach Google.

Job posting data on every job page is the minimum. Fast indexing, which tells search engines about a new or closed job within minutes, is often kept for a higher plan.

  5. What sits on the higher plans.

Emails from your own domain, removing the platform’s branding, and tools beyond the board itself, such as resume parsing, an API or messaging.

Whichever you pick, try it with your real niche before you pay for a year: add a few real job sources, post a job, and run one job page through Google’s Rich Results Test to see the job data Google reads.
